The world does not prepare you for the Godly character traits that love demands, such as:
*LOYALTY- a strong feeling of support.
*MUTUAL RESPECT- in order for a relationship to remain healthy, both partners must be equally respected and appreciated.
*SELFLESSNESS- thinking of others before yourself; generous, kind.
*TRUTHFULNESS- to have confidence, or hope in someone; confident expectation, surely.
*HEALING-to bring to an end; reconciliation; free from conflict.
*COMPANIONSHIP- company; compatibility; a close friendship.
*GROWTH- maturation over a period of time; positive development.
*COMMUNICATION- allows you to explain to someone else what you are experiencing and what your needs are.
*TEAMWORK- involves work in a good relationship, two people work hard to know each other and last through tough times.
*HONESTY- always telling your partner the truth and being totally open with them, both big and little things.
*COURAGE- mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.
*COMPASSION- sympathetic consciousness of other’s distress together with a desire to alleviate it.
*FORGIVENESS- a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment toward a person who has harmed you.
*PERSEVERANCE- doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.
*RELIABLE- able to be trusted to do or provide what is needed.
*SELF-CONTROL- the ability to control oneself, in particular one’s emotion and desires or the expression of them in one’s behavior, especially in difficult situations.
*EMPATHY- the ability to understand and share feelings of another.
*UNDERSTANDING- aware of other people’s feelings; tolerant and forgiving.
*ENCOURAGEMENT- the action of giving someone support, confidence, or hope.
*COMMITMENT- involves dedicating yourself to someone; obligation.
*GODLINESS- is being faithful to our calling by doing the good works for which we were saved.
*FAITH- “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
