INTEGRATION– the bringing together and uniting of cultures; incorporation as equals into a society.

I believe integration was one of the worst things that could of happened to the American Black male and female, for the white man adopted us and we became dependent as a child depends on his or her parents. If integration did not happen we would be strong, united, and educated, we would know our history, for the white man teaches us his-story. There was a time when we had our own, we flourished. We owned banks and grocery stores, we had our own educational system, we were doctor and lawyers, we had our own! Once the white man recognized that we can not only survive but thrive in their self-proclaimed world without their ungodly assistance they decided that it would be in their best interest to eradicate the lives that we made for ourselves, for fear set in. The Tulsa race massacre took place on May 31 and June 1, 1921, when mobs of white residents, some of them deputized and given weapons by city officials, attacked Black residents and destroyed homes and businesses of the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Known as the Tulsa race riot or the Black Wall Street massacre, the event is considered one of the single worst incidents of racial violence in American history. Black Wall Street was one of the most progressive and prosperous African American communities in the United States. I am sad to say that I am not a student of Black history myself, and I will not try to make it seem as if I am well versed on the subject, for I am not. The white man integrated our two vastly different cultures for many reasons, but I will tell you this, integration was not for the betterment of the Black male and female of America, it was to give a false sense of hope and progression that exist to this day. I may not be a scholar or a historian, but I am no fool, for I will continue to integrate the Lords word into my everyday life.

“He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.”

Psalms 9:8
