the desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise.

But Anyways-

whatever; to change a topic; without regard to other considerations.

“What’s up Dame, what are you doing this weekend?

“My wife is out of town visiting family, so I plan on going over my fathers house to spend some quality time with him. At 52 years of age I now understand the importance of making the best use of the Lords time, for His scripture says: “You do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” (James 4:14)

“I understand as well, but anyways, a few of us are going to the strip club Saturday night, and you are coming with us!”

Me: “I think I’ll pass.”

“I don’t care what you think, we are going to the strip club this weekend, your wife is out of town, it is our time now.”

“Yes, my wife is out of town, but I will not go to the strip club because this is so, she may be out of my sight, but she is never out of my mind.”

“So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Mark 1:6
