“Daddy, is there really a God?
Father:
“I believe that there is, why do you ask?”
Daughter:
“In school, some kids say that there is a God, some kids say that there isn’t a God, and some kids say that there are many Gods, daddy I am confused.”
Father:
“I was confused at first too.”
Daughter:
“You were daddy?”
Father:
“Yes, until I started reading the Bible. I’ll read you some scriptures that will help you with your confusion.”
Daughter:
“Okay.”
Father:
“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.”(Genesis 1:1)
Daughter:
“Read me another one daddy.”
Father:
“I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me.” (Isaiah 45:5)
Daughter:
“Read me another one daddy.”
Father:
“Think about what I am saying and the Lord will give you understanding.” (2 Timothy 2:7)
Daughter:
“I thought about what He said daddy and now I understand. There is a God, and He created everything, but there is only one God, there are not many Gods. Is that right daddy?”
Father:
“That’s right honey, daddy is very proud of you.”

“Okay, but this is the last one, daddy has to cook dinner, mommy will be home soon.”
Daughter:
“Okay”

“The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.” (Psalm 14:2)
