I took a step outside of my blackness to observe this world that we share, and I have come to understand that hate is broad, many colors it has, it does not discriminate, it enters all who know not of the Lord and His Holy Scriptures. Hate is passed down, it is inherited, it is learned behavior, it is generational. I once thought the hate that I carried within was a defense mechanism that was triggered by the hate that I received, but I was wrong, I now know the truth, the hate that I carried within was also my not knowing the Lord and His Holy Scriptures. The Lord goes with me now, I am blessed, vision I have, His words of truth has given me clarity, I hate no longer, I am not the man that I once was, thanks I give. Their hate, their perceived superiority, their wrongdoings, accountability they have not, but the Lord sees all, for “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3) His love for all, the hate that they carry within, I pray that they cross paths, for His light will shine through the darkness that keeps them blind to the beautiful spectrum of colors that this world emits.
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”
Outside of my blackness……
