“Hear Ye! Hear Ye!”

“Hear ye, hear ye, come one, come all, His Holy Scriptures I read aloud.” “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8) For many, disbelief weighs heavy on their heart, for they have not yet taken the steps that are needed to gain spiritual understanding, and by being dismissive without knowledge, one will never gain spiritual understanding, one will continue to lean on one’s own understanding. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) One cannot have spiritual understanding if one does not have knowledge of it, one must apply one’s self, one must read, one must study, one must learn, one must not be dismissive of what one knows not of. “My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding; indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For those who think that their curiosity led them here, curiosity it is not, it is the Lord, it it His Saving Grace, it is His Love for you. This opportunity shall soon pass, life is short, act now, take advantage of this moment that He has blessed you with, for “you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and the vanishes away.” (James 4:14)
