I smile in the rain, I am blessed to feel the wetness that falls upon me, for I have been through much, many say that I am “lucky” to survive through my trials and tribulations, but I say otherwise, for my Lord and Savior He protects me, my love and appreciation for Him I will carry with me always. I smile in the rain because being alive gives me reason to do so, for I continue to exist amongst the living. Silent whispers on bended knees I hear from the many who pray for me, I thank you all for your prayers, blessed I am to smile in the rain for another day. As the rain continues to fall on this new day that I am blessed to be a part of I will take full advantage of the time that this day has to offer, I will waste not, for time is precious when death is always on the prowl. My smile and the rain that falls will soon part ways as the seasons begin to change, but they will meet again one day, until then, I will continue smile in the rain.
