Through the valley of the shadow of death we all must go, some sooner, some later, but the walk must be made by us all, for our calling it is, choices that we make in this world, the deciding factor they will be. Through the valley of the shadow of death, darkness until light, my faithful journey, I shall show no fear, for I am under the influence of the Lord and His word, so I journey on. One of the things I love about the 23rd is the word ‘through.’ As long as we keep our focus on the Good Shepherd, we’re not stuck in the valley of death. The enemy wants us to believe that the trial/suffering we’re going through is permanent. God promises there is glory on the other side.
