I was once blind, His vision we did not share, my eyes, closed to His light, I strayed, I wandered blindly, I wandered aimlessly through the darkness that this world provides, I lost my way. The blind leading the blind, no light to lead us, lost souls were chaos reined, I was there, I know the shadows well, old friends of mine they were.
“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.
Isaiah 42:16
I was once blind, I chose not to see His heavenly light, the darkness below, my choice, opposing forces. He has blessed me with a chance to make another choice, I must choose wisely, for everlasting life is at stake.
I call to Heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may have life.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I was once blind, but now I see, my choice I made, His counsel, I listened well, informative it was, a lesson learned, there will be no going back to where the darkness resides, for clarity I have now, I was once blind, but now I see.
“And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all the people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Isaiah 40:5
I was once blind…..

Love this, brother!
As I read, this Scripture came to mind: “all we like sheep have gone astray…” Thanks be to Jesus for giving us direction, purpose and life, hallelujah!
Well said, my friend. Only His light can give true sight.
Love this! Thank you for sharing this inspiring word. God will give sight to those who seek Him! Be Blessed!
